Over the last two days we have had the pleasure of being present and part of the Startup Festival organized by Enterprise Malta. The whole event was really well structured. Between the Main stage area, the presentation area, the discussion section and the food and beverages section, there was enough to keep anybody busy through the day
The main stage events were a good mix of discussion panels, celebrities and professionals from the scene and sharing their stories and advice and presentations of what some of the startups have achieved. A number of new schemes and changes to government policy were announced, together with talks on how startups can polish up their game to increase their chance for funding.
The event was well attended by Startups, Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors and also Government and Private Entities. We had a blast meeting some of the aspiring startup attendees. Discussing their plans and business ideas. The networking possibilities were incredible.
An area was also setup with tables where startups and investors could setup meetings to discuss potential deals and options or collaborations and synergies. This was a real treat and extremely well set-up together with Deal-room. One of the event’s main partners.
